The Full Picture

For three years, I've been building my skills across video editing, directing, cinematography, videography, and photography. My approach is simple: be involved in every step. Great editing starts with understanding how footage is captured, and great directing comes from knowing what's possible in post. Whether I'm behind the camera or in front of the timeline, I'm always thinking about the bigger picture. The planning, the shooting, the revisions. That's where the best work happens.

Directing

I've directed school commercials, TVC contest entries, short films, and passion projects. Working as both director and videographer on many of these taught me to think simultaneously about narrative direction and technical capture, balancing creative decisions with practical production needs while guiding talent and managing the camera.

Cinematography

I approach cinematography as visual language. Each frame, movement, and lighting choice communicates something specific. Through commercial work, short films, and personal projects, I've developed an understanding of how the camera can guide emotion, pace, and viewer focus long before the edit begins.

Photography

Before I picked up a video camera, I was shooting photos. It taught me the basics: how to read light, frame a subject, and work with a camera manually. Those fundamentals are still the backbone of everything I do, whether it's a photoshoot or a full video production.

Production Experience

I've worked on actual productions as a PA, clapper, assistant director for a music video, and part of the live streaming team on Alon ng Kabayanihan. Being on set with directors and crew taught me how productions run from the inside, the coordination, the problem-solving, and the importance of every role in making a shoot successful.
